Advanced Perfumery Training is an intensive learning experience designed to engage with perfumery at an expert level.
Over the span of five intensive sessions, you wI’ll study a diverse range of raw materials that comprise modern perfumes and trends, practice essential techniques in balancing scent and creating their very own first accords.
Beyond developing your sensory evaluation skills and understanding what goes into the process of perfume creation, you will get a glimpse of the fragrance industry, learn about the manufacturing/production process, and regulatory standards.

What You Will Learn
Logistics & Lab Setup
Learn how to establish your own perfumer’s lab — from understanding essential tools and raw materials to sourcing ingredients through trusted, reputable suppliers.
Scent Formulation
Master the core principles of fragrance formulation. You’ll learn how to build a scent formula from scratch in a professional and industry-compliant way.
While five days isn’t enough to cover everything, you’ll leave with:
- A set of foundational formulas for key accords to use as a backbone for your own creations.
- Access to reliable resources, references, and literature to support your continued formulation journey.
Manufacturing Process
Understand each step in transforming your formula into a finished product — from compounding to filling and packaging.
Sensory Evaluation & Expert Language
Not all students aim to become perfumers — some seek to deepen their sensory skills and learn to speak about fragrance more confidently and precisely.
This course helps you:
- Refine your olfactory evaluation abilities.
- Understand perfume genealogy, structures, and families.
- Build a professional vocabulary and perspective that elevates your expertise as a fragrance influencer, evaluator, or brand representative.
